Dr. Farzaneh Soflaei is an Assistant Professor in the State University of New York at Delhi. She earned her second PhD in Urban Design and Theory in 2013, from School of Architecture at Tsinghua University. She has also received a PhD in Architecture in 2006, from Azad University as well as a Master’s in Architectural Engineering in 2001. Sustainability has always been her key interest in design research. Through her career, she has explored different aspects of this multi-dimensional issue in wide range of buildings and urban scale projects. Since 2004, she has actively worked on this field and published in academic conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
